Greeting rules open a conversation on a matching page after a delay, with up to three A/B variants per rule and a per-visitor cap. Cross-sell rules point buying intent to your other products.

Proactive greetings with A/B variants#

A rule has a path prefix (such as /pricing), a delay in seconds and one to three variants. A visitor always sees the same variant, and sees at most one proactive greeting per greeting_cap_hours (24 by default).
